Our meeting will be held at the Agrilife Building, 607 N. Vandeveer in Burnet. We’ll have a light supper at 5:30 and the meeting will be called to order at 6.

You’ve probably heard about the proposed 765,000 Volt transmission line. As Republicans, we care about property values and rights, free enterprise, the economy, and of course, our health. This line will affect all of us in many ways. Speaker Damon Beierle, President of the Highland Lakes 391 Commission, will share with us some of what he’s learned in the past months about the far-reaching effects of the line on those of us who live in Burnet County.
